About Terpsy

Terpsy was created and is maintained by SYTYS, LLC, a software-development firm in Bryan, Texas.

In 2006, we created a custom web app for a local sign language interpreting agency. Nearly a decade later, large parts of the app needed to be rewritten. (Old technologies are progressively dropped or need to be maintained at costs that can be hard to justify.) SLIS, the local interpreting agency, also wanted more functionality whose cost would be unaffordable for a single agency.

So in 2015, we took on the challenge of creating Terpsy, and SLIS the challenge of marketing it. That explains why you may have seen Sherri and her team handle Terpsy's marketing at various sign language interpreting conferences throughout the US, starting with the TSID conference of 2016.
